More than 6,400 low-income students enrolled in high school received the first installment of payment from the Ministry of Education’s (MEC) “Pé-de-Meia” program. The amount can reach up to R$2,000 per year, being distributed as follows: R$200 upon registration + 9 installments of R$200.
