Former coach of Beach ClubPaulo Coco was officially announced by LOVB (League One Volleyball). The commander will join the United States, where he signed with Atlanta for two years, after seven seasons at the Uberlândia club.

“(Paulo) will bring the right combination of discipline, work ethic and motivational leadership to help our professional players reach new heights for the sport”, celebrated Tom Hogan, in the publication made by the League.

Paulo Coco won important titles throughout his career, in addition to serving as assistant coach to osé Roberto Guimarães, on the Brazilian team, since 2003. In this role, he won gold at the Beijing and London Games. In Tokyo, he finished with the silver medal.

Still with the Brazilian team, he won three other silver medals in World Championships.

Club career

As coach of Praia Clube, Paulo Coco won the South American Club Championship twice. Furthermore, he is also a two-time champion of Super League and won the unprecedented Copa do Brasil title, in the 2023/24 season.
