More than 74 thousand taxpayers submitted their Income Tax (IR) 2024 declaration within the first 20 days of receipt. Data from around 250 thousand taxpayers in Tocantins is expected this year.
The deadline was opened by the Revenue on March 15th of this year. As of Tuesday night (2), 74,672 statements had been transmitted to the ‘lion’.
The agency makes the numbers available in real time. Of the total declarations, 46.4% were pre-filled and 56.3% simplified. To consult the statistics, click here.
The majority of taxpayers – 87.3% – will be able to refund amounts, that is, receive some value. Around 6.3% will have to be paid to the IRS.
Palmas is the city with the most declarations submitted, 24,318. In the north of the state, in Araguaína, 9,675 have already transmitted the data. In Gurupi, 5,078 taxpayers filed their declarations this year.
In Brazil, more than 9.79 million Income Tax declarations have already been submitted.
The deadline for submitting information is May 31st of this year. Those who receive from R$ 30,639.90; R$ 153,199.50 from rural activity; or has assets worth up to R$800,000, is required to declare income.
To make the declaration, the taxpayer must download the program on the Federal Revenue website. It is available for desktop computers and cell phones with Android or IOS operating systems. To access, click here.
Lots must be paid to taxpayers from May 31st to September 30th. See the dates:

- 2nd Batch – June 28th;
- 3rd Batch – July 31st;
- 4th Batch – August 30th;
- 5th Batch – September 30th.
