Registration for the 3rd State Race to Combat Slave Labor closes this Tuesday (30)

The CAR Digital Médio Norte Environmental Mutirão, in Lucas do Rio Verde, has registrations open so that rural producers and technical managers can clarify doubts with the State Secretariat for the Environment (Sema) about the validation of the environmental registration of their properties.

The event will take place between the 6th and 9th of May and is organized by the city hall and the rural union of Lucas do Rio Verde.

Individualized assistance with Sema analysts regarding CAR Digital can be requested using the form available HERE. The municipalities of Lucas do Rio Verde, Sorriso, Nova Mutum, Diamantino, São José do Rio Claro, Ipiranga do Norte and Nova Ubiratã will be served.

The event is in partnership with Sema, Federation of Agriculture and Livestock of the State of Mato Grosso (Famato), Association of Breeders of Mato Grosso (Acrimat) and Association of Soy and Corn Producers of the State of Mato Grosso (Aprosoja), Associação Matogrossense of Cotton Producers (Ampa).

“Our objective is to bring the rural producer, to bring the technical person responsible for this moment to analyze the Digital CAR created by Sema and evaluate their rural environmental registration to be able to validate it immediately”, stated Sema’s Deputy Secretary of Environmental Management, Luciane Bertinatto.

CAR Digital is a unique project in Brazil, 100% automated for analyzing the State’s rural property records. The system uses satellite image technology to point out and generate the CAR approved by Sema for the producer, bringing more agility to the entire process.

The event will open with a lecture with Luciane Bertinatto who will address, among the topics, the deadlines established for the analysis of the Rural Environmental Registry (CAR), which is 90 days after notification via email to review, accept or reject the information in the CAR Digital system.

A conversation circle will also be held with technical managers from the municipalities included in the CAR Digital Middle North Environmental Mutirão.
