It is not yet known what Nicolás Larcamón’s plans are for Cruzeiro’s debut in the Copa Sudamericana. But one thing is certain: the coach will not have two players from the starting lineup at his disposal.

Raposa traveled to Ecuador this Tuesday (2/4), without the presence of strikers Juan Dinenno and Arthur Gomes. The first clash of the tournament will be with Universidad Católica, on Thursday, starting at 9pm, at the Atahualpa Olympic Stadium, in Quito.

There is no mystery regarding Dinenno and Arthur’s situations. The pair were spared from the trip because they showed significant physical exhaustion after the 2-2 draw with Atlético, last Saturday, in the final of the Campeonato Mineiro.

The attackers were starters for the Celeste team in the first duel and should resume their places in the second game of the decision, if they are already physically fit.

When will the second Mineiro final take place?

Cruzeiro and Atlético decide the Mineiro title next Sunday, at 3:30 pm, at Mineirão, in Belo Horizonte. The advantage belongs to Raposa, who only needs another draw to win the State.
