Acre Legislative Assembly promotes blood donation campaign in partnership with Hemoacre

Initiative aims to encourage solidarity and meet the demand for blood in the State

On the morning of Tuesday, April 30, the Legislative Assembly of Acre (Aleac), through the Acre Legislative School, joined Hemoacre in a solidarity action that could save lives. In a joint initiative, members of the Acre parliament and public servants actively participated in the blood donation campaign, contributing to the supply of stocks at Hemoacre, an important hemotherapy center in the state.

The action, which began at 9 am, was well attended by legislators and the community, who came to the site to donate blood and demonstrate their support for the cause of public health. The president of the Legislative Assembly, deputy Luiz Gonzaga (PSDB), highlighted the importance of engaging all sectors of society to guarantee the availability of blood in the state’s hospitals and health centers.

“The engagement of all sectors of society is essential to guarantee the availability of blood in hospitals and health centers in the state. What we hope is that at the end of the day, the outcome of the campaign will be extremely positive, that we will have reached a significant number of donors and with the certainty that each bag of blood collected can represent a new chance of life for someone in need. ”, said the parliamentarian.

The director of the Legislative School, Michelle Andressa, highlighted the importance of the initiative. In her statements, Michele emphasized the continued need for donors to meet the health system’s demands, highlighting that this partnership with Hemoacre aims not only to raise awareness, but also to mobilize the community in support of this vital cause. “Through this initiative, Aleac seeks not only to fulfill its legislative role, but also to demonstrate its commitment to the well-being and solidarity with the population,” she stated.

For server Evelena Cardoso, she made a point of making her donation. “Blood donation is an altruistic and solidarity act that helps save lives. A gesture of love for others that can generate many beautiful smiles. Together we can make the difference”.

Hemoacre, which is responsible for meeting the demand for blood throughout Acre, constantly faces challenges to maintain its stocks at adequate levels. Therefore, the partnership with the Legislative Assembly is essential, not only to meet immediate needs, but also to raise awareness among the population about the importance of regular blood donation.

Throughout the morning, the atmosphere of solidarity and collaboration dominated the environment, with participants sharing stories of overcoming and motivating each other to contribute to a noble cause. Furthermore, the campaign also offered information about the importance of donating blood and clarified doubts about the process.

With initiatives like this, Aleac reaffirms its commitment to the well-being of the population and positions itself as an active partner in promoting health and solidarity throughout the state.
