An operation launched by the Civil Police, through the Specialized Narcotics Suppression Police Station (DRE), this Friday (26), complies with 39 court orders, 27 of which were home search and seizure warrants and 12 bank account blocking orders, against ‘refined’ drug traffickers. This Friday morning, 11 people were arrested.
The action is part of the work of Operation Narke, coordinated by the Ministry of Justice for actions by police stations specialized in combating drug trafficking throughout Brazil. In Mato Grosso, the warrants are served in Cuiabá, Várzea Grande and Rondonópolis.
According to the police, during investigations, traffickers involved in the trade of synthetic drugs were identified as ecstasy, MDMA, LSDpopularly known as “bala”, “sweet”in addition to other substances such as variations of marihuana which were sold to users in Greater Cuiabá.
According to the police, the criminals purchased large quantities of these drugs for distributionmaking smaller distributions of drugs, fueling retail traffic.
The searches and seizures of Operation Ratio were carried out in condominiums and houses in different neighborhoods of the capitalmobilizing 27 Civil Police teams, with a total of 110 civil police officers.
During this week, the Civil Police carried out arrest warrants, search and seizure warrants and arrests in the act as part of Operation Narke, launched by the Ministry of Justice, resulting in the execution of 15 arrest warrants, 12 search and seizure warrants and three arrests in flagrant incidents carried out in Cuiabá and the metropolitan region.
