The CBF’s General Competition Regulations on the possibility of stopping the Brazilian Nationals do not specifically contain an item that talks about the entity suspending the competition due to environmental tragedy in a certain location, even if extreme, such as what happens in Rio Grande do Sul.
In any case, this will not prevent the CBF from making this decision, according to experts in sports law.
