The Copa Truck organization announced that the 4th stage of the 2024 championship, which would be held in Santa Cruz do Sul (RS), was transferred to the city of Lima Duarte, in Minas Gerais. The test is scheduled for June 16th.

The change occurs due to the damage that rain and floods caused in the city of Rio Grande do Sul, making it impossible to hold the race. The event will have a charitable nature, with all proceeds from the event being donated to help victims of environmental disasters in Rio Grande do Sul.

“Due to the situation in Rio Grande do Sul, there are no conditions to hold any sporting event in the region and, in addition to changing the square, we decided that all the income obtained will be completely sent to the victims of the rain in the city and the event will take symbolically the name of Santa Cruz”, comments Carlos Col, CEO of Mais Brasil Esportes, promoter of the event.
