The president of IBGE, Marcio Pochmann, and the state superintendent of IBGE in Pernambuco, Gliner Dias, met this Tuesday, 7th, in Recife (PE), with the State Secretary of Planning, Management and Regional Development of Pernambuco, Fabrício Marques, with the president of the Pernambuco State Planning and Research Agency (Condepe/Fidem), Jaime Prado, the Information Systematization and Dissemination manager, Lorena Iumatti and technician André Luís Silva, to promote the cartographic data information interface and statistics and evaluate the possibility of new cooperation projects between institutions.
The meeting took place at the headquarters of the Planning Secretariat (Seplag), and was also attended by technicians from the institutions and also from the Management Institute, linked to the Secretariat. “IBGE does not want static data, it wants dynamic data, to get even closer to society”, highlighted Márcio Pochmann.
Secretary Fabrício Marques, who coordinated the meeting, noted that the “partnership initiative will be of fundamental importance for Condepe/Fidem in its current moment of restructuring, we have the importance of georeferencing work for planning, as an example the geolocation survey of areas for the installation of daycare centers in the Metropolitan Region of Recife, carried out by a team from Seplag”.
Jaime Prado thanked the technical contribution he received from IBGE on issues relating to the demands of Pernambuco’s municipalities, and highlighted the work in front of the autarchy and the actions to strengthen institutions.
