Bruna Muratori, 31 years old, started a online campaign to raise money to be able to buy a house. She and her mother, Susane Muratori, 64, went viral on social media because they were living in a McDonald’s unit in Leblon, south of Rio de Janeiro.

According to the portal Extra, the campaign launched on the 3rd aims to raise R$10,000. As of Tuesday afternoon, the 7th, the contribution from seven people totaled R$195.

In the text that accompanies the kitty, Bruna mentions that her personal life “became public” due to the repercussions on social media and says that, contrary to what was published, she is just a McDonald’s customer and does not reside in the establishment.

The woman from Rio Grande do Sul, who says she is fluent in English, also states that she received a job offer from the cafeteria, but that she turned it down. According to Bruna, in addition to trying to buy a house, the money raised would be used to train her as a paramedic and in Law.
