The South of Minas has 39 cities in the South of Minas in an Emergency Situation due to the dengue epidemic in 2024 – see the list below. According to data released this Monday (1st) by the State Department of Health (SES-MG), the region has 46,950 confirmed cases of the disease, with seven deaths.
In this way, city halls began to issue Public Health Emergency decrees. Between January and the end of March, 39 cities in the region have already adopted the measure, which makes the fight against dengue more effective.
This is because measures such as purchasing inputs or hiring professionals to meet patient demand, for example, can be done without so much bureaucracy.
