With an eye on the debut of the Copa do Brasil, Verdão carried out an activity with midfielder Zé Rafael fully recovered from the low back pain that took him out of the last six games of the current two-time Brazilian champion.
The number 8 should reinforce Abel Ferreira’s team next Thursday (2), when Verdão faces Botafogo-SP, in the first game of the third phase of the Copa do Brasil, at Allianz Parque.
Zé Rafael has not played since the Paulista grand final and should take the place of Richard Rios, who comes from a long sequence as a starter in the Alviverde midfield.

Palmeiras trains again this Wednesday and Abel should now define the team for their debut in the Copa do Brasil, a competition in which the club is seeking its fifth championship.
