Regional administrators learn about new citizen service platform

-

This Tuesday (30), a new platform for 24-hour service to citizens was presented to all regional administrators in the Federal District. The Government of the Federal District (GDF) is preparing the launch, this May, of a management tool that aims to simplify and facilitate the population’s access to services in cities.

“We presented to administrators a new citizen service system that will make it easier for the population and help in defining public policies”, explains the Government Secretary, José Humberto Pires de Araújo. Regional administrations are the gateway to serving the population and the closest path for citizens to access public services.

Launched in April 2022, the 24 Hour Digital Regional Administration aims to improve the communication channel between residents and public authorities. Furthermore, the tool will make it easier for managers to plan and execute demands, in addition to providing more transparency for actions.

The platform will allow citizens to request services digitally at any time of the day, without having to travel to the regional administration.

As a way of training public servants in administrations, between the 13th and 17th of May, they will participate in a course at the Federal District Government School (Egov) to learn how to use the platform and improve service to citizens quickly and efficient.

24 hour service

An important link between the population and the Federal District Government (GDF), regional administrations offer 24-hour service. The program brings the government closer to the population so that they can indicate what needs to be done, corrected and praised in cities on any day, time and place.

In addition to the Government Secretariat, the General Comptroller’s Office and the Economy Secretariat also participate in the project.

This initiative aims to provide proactive maintenance, greater transparency and accountability, promoting social inclusion, in addition to assisting in management and strategic decisions.
