Former UFC featherweight (66 kg) champion, Max Holloway is one of the important figures chosen by the company to perform in the 300th show, scheduled to take place on April 13th, in Las Vegas (USA). In the attraction, the Hawaiian will face Justin Gaethje, at lightweight (70 kg), in a duel valid for the ‘BMF’ belt (toughest fighter). In fact, ‘Blessed’ made an unusual request to the largest MMA organization in the world.

Holloway suggested that UFC Hall of Famer Mark Coleman place the ‘BMF’ belt on the winner of his fight against Gaethje, as a kind of tribute after he experienced a dramatic personal moment. In March, the veteran saved his parents from a fire, but, as he was trapped in the house, he passed out due to smoke inhalation, had to be rushed by helicopter to the hospital and was admitted in serious condition. Therefore, the Hawaiian highlighted that the presence of ‘The Hammer’ would give greater meaning to the symbolic title.

The only correct answer is Mark Coleman. Mainly, with what he recently went through with his dog. His dog woke him up to save his things and he went there and ran after the dog? The guy is a gangster. This is a real life BMF. It would be insane if he did that. It would be an honor to convince you to do this“, declared the former UFC champion, in an interview with the website ‘MMA Junkie’.
