The Brazilian Football Confederation has released the table and regulations for the A3 Brazilian Women’s Championship, scheduled to start on April 13th (Saturday), with the participation of 32 teams.
The competition system will be in the knockout format, in groups of 2 teams each, round-trip games, the Club that has the highest number of points gained at the end of the two clashes within its group will qualify.
In the event of a tie in points earned between the Clubs at the end of each phase in each group, the tiebreaker will be defined observing the following criteria:
1st. Higher goal difference;
2nd. Taking penalties.
Porto Velho Esporte Clube, in the 1st phase, will face Atlético Acreano (AC). The first match will take place on the 13th or 14th of April (Saturday or Sunday), in a stadium yet to be defined, but which should take place at the Aluízio Ferreira stadium.
The return game is scheduled for the 27th or 28th of April (Saturday or Sunday), at a location to be defined, in the city of Rio Branco (AC). The times will be announced in the coming days by the CBF DCO.
In the 2nd PHASE
The classified in the 1st phase of Porto Velho (RO) and Atlético (AC), will face the winner of Rio Negro (RR) and Tarumã (AM). The clashes are scheduled for May 4th or 5th, first leg, and 11th or 12/05, return game.
