The Bahia 2024 Book Biennial, which takes place between April 26th and May 1st, released its official program this Tuesday (26th). The event takes place at the Salvador Convention Center (Boca do Rio) and had an exponential increase in authors compared to the last edition: from 100 to 170 in total.

Among the highlights are international authors, such as Abdi Nazemian and Scholastique Mukasonga, as well as representatives of contemporary Brazilian literature such as Itamar Vieira Jr, Pedro Rhuas, Paula Pimenta, Socorro Acioli and Thalita Rebouças. There are also appearances by artists such as Daniela Mercury, Bruna Lombardi and Zélia Duncan.

Tickets for the Bahia 2024 Book Biennial can now be purchased through official event website. The full ticket costs R$30, with a half ticket costing R$15. During the days of the event, there will also be a physical ticket office at the Salvador Convention Center itself.
