Singer Anderson Leonardo died this Friday, 26, at the age of 51, leaving 4 children. Alessa Cristyne, Leozinho Bradock, Rafael Phelipe and Alice. Alessa, 30 years old, is the firstborn and is pregnant with Maria Alice, the singer’s second granddaughter.

On her social media profile, she even shared campaigns and information about her father’s health. The last publication on the profile was made 4 days ago, when Anderson’s health worsened.

Just like Anderson, Leozinho Bradock, and Rafael Phelipe followed in the footsteps of an artistic career and also work with music.

The vocalist’s wake will be held on Sunday, 28th, from 11 am to 3:30 pm, in Chapel 09 of the Jardim da Saudade Cemetery, in Rio de Janeiro. There is still no information whether the ceremony will be open to the public.

Cancer and worsening health condition

Anderson Leonardo was battling inguinal cancer. He announced his diagnosis in 2022 and, at the beginning of March 2024, he was admitted and spent four days in the Intensive Care Unit to treat kidney failure. After being discharged, the singer was hospitalized again – this time in his room – in early April to continue immunotherapy treatment and pain medication.

On April 22, 11 days after being transferred to his room, Anderson Leonardo worsened and had to return to the ICU. Since then, he has not left the hospital and suffered a worsening condition 4 days ago, passing away this Friday, the 26th, at the age of 51.
