Palmeiras and Puma have reached an agreement and are expected to soon sign the renewal of the sports equipment supply contract until the end of 2027.

Throughout the negotiations, Verdão received offers from seven companies, and the deadline for submitting proposals ended in February. Adidas and Puma, current suppliers and with a contract until December, were the main options for what they presented.

In favor of Adidas, mainly the production and distribution capacity weighed, in addition to the values ​​and the possibility of generating greater revenue from product royalties. The current contract with Puma yields R$42 million, and the company has offered to cover the competitor.

Both Palmeiras and Puma have not commented on the matter so far. There have been disagreements between the parties, but the relationship, which began in 2019, is currently peaceful.

Previously, the club had already reached an agreement to operate advertising boards in home games between 2025 and 2029, for R$315 million.

After signing with Puma, it will be necessary to define the brand that will sponsor the club, as the contract with Crefisa and FAM ends in December, when there will be a presidential election.
