Heavy rains in Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina in recent days have caused deaths, injuries, disappearance of people, landslides, flooding and extensive damage in cities in both states.ebc.gif?id=1593372&o=node

The emergency and calamity situations motivated the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services (MGI) to highlight, this Friday (3), that candidates for the Unified National Public Competition (CPNU) can request reimbursement of the registration fee in cases of power outages and natural disasters.

The two conditions are foreseen in the notices of the eight thematic blocks of the so-called Enem of Competitions. The text of these documents considers as logistical problems, which justify the return of the amounts paid for the registration, force majeure factors such as natural disasters that harm the application of the CPNU due to the compromise of the local infrastructure; and the lack of electricity, which compromises the visibility of the race due to the lack of natural light.

To participate in the Unified National Public Competition, candidates with higher education paid R$90 – for those with a higher education degree – and R$60 for those with secondary education.

The tests will be administered in the 27 federation units next Sunday (5). Of the total of 228 municipalities that will receive more than 2.14 million candidates, ten cities are in Rio Grande do Sul and eight in Santa Catarina.

Reimbursement

Candidates affected by logistical problems will be able to request a refund of the amount paid as registration fees within five working days after the day the tests were administered, therefore, until next Friday, May 10th.

The refund request must be made through the Candidate Area, on the same website where the participant registered. First, you must log in with your account details from the federal government portal Gov.br.

Requests will be analyzed individually by the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services (MGI) and Fundação Cesgranrio, which will refund the amount if the request is considered valid.

Negatives

According to the selection process notices, noise situations that do not compromise the application of the test, as well as heat, cold or discomfort with furniture during the exams, are not scenarios that will result in a refund of the registration fee.

Reimbursement requests will also not be accepted due to the cancellation of questions, nor due to blank entries or without a complete description.
