The vote in the Deliberative Council last Monday approved yet another sponsorship for Flamengo. The Zé Delivery brand, a company specialized in beverage delivery from Ambev, will be printed on professional football socks for R$11 million by the end of 2025.

The sponsorship, however, does not stop there and includes another R$5 million for FlaTV. These are the direct funds that will enter the clubs’ coffers. Payment will be made in four installments: May and August 2024, and May and August 2025.

Furthermore, it was agreed that the brand will encourage Flamengo’s Olympic sports with a budget of R$10 million. The Board also approved Ambev’s exclusivity in selling products both in Gávea, the club’s headquarters, and at Ninho do Urubu, the training center. There will also be the promotion of the Brahma brand, in addition to Zé Delivery.

During the meeting that took place in Gávea, a counselor asked for clarification on “actions that will be carried out with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks”. The need for care in advertisements was highlighted due to the encouragement of alcoholic beverages. After the positioning, the counselor was supported by other counselors. It is worth noting that the uniform cannot directly advertise alcoholic beverages.

Proportionally based on the final value of the contract, Flamengo will receive R$6.8 million from Zé Delivery for the contract from April to December 2024. In this way, the red-black shirt for the season is valued at R$240.1 million.
