Elderly woman dies after being run over by a bus in Governador Valadares | Valleys of Minas Gerais

An elderly woman died after being run over by a bus this Friday morning (26), on Tumiritinga Street, on the corner of Ibituruna Street, in the Carapina neighborhood, in Governador Valadares.

According to the police, the driver reported that he stopped the vehicle to board passengers, and the victim ran to enter the bus, but lost his balance and fell under the bus on Line 13, Turmalina/Carapina.

Alice de Paulo Francisco, 73 years old, is, according to witnesses, a resident of Rua Marajá in the Carapina neighborhood.

Civil Police experts arrived at the scene and carried out forensic work.

The police are continuing to investigate what actually happened.
