The Amazonas Consumer Protection Institute (Procon-AM) and the Consumer Protection Commission of the Legislative Assembly of the State of Amazonas (CDC-Aleam) notified, this Thursday (04/25), Amazonas Futebol Clube to provide clarifications on ticket prices for the game against Flamengo, in the Copa do Brasil, which will be held next month, at Arena da Amazônia.
The Amazonian club announced the opening of online sales via social media on Tuesday (23/4). Prices range from R$150 (half) to R$1,500 (full), depending on the desired sector.
According to the director-president of Procon-AM, Jalil Fraxe, and the president of CDC-Aleam, deputy Mário César Fillho, the notification aims to obtain information on the price composition of tickets that are already being sold, as well as on the availability of seats for people with disabilities and companions, advertising regarding the release of food and bottles of water and other criteria relevant to the Consumer Protection Code.
The document was delivered to the club headquarters this Thursday. The club has 10 days to present clarifications.

According to Jalil Fraxe, after analyzing the information, the Institute will investigate what measures can be taken.
“We are attentive and vigilant to the demand to ensure that the consumer, who is the fan, has their rights protected and avoid abusive practices. Our mission is to guide and ensure that consumer relationships are healthy”, said Jalil Fraxe.
“It is unacceptable that fans are exploited with exorbitant prices that violate the principles of democratic access to sport. We cannot tolerate the practice of abuses that harm consumers and disregard current legislation. We are vigilant and will ensure that citizens’ rights are rigorously protected”, added deputy Mário César Filho, president of CDC-Aleam.
