Rio – The Fire Department began, this Wednesday (24), the fifth day of searching for the man who disappeared on Barra da Tijuca beach, in the West Zone. Wagno dos Santos suffered an accident while riding a jet ski.

Leandro Rodrigues, 23 years old, a friend of the victim and responsible for taking care of the watercraft at the Barra marina, told the DAY sadness at what happened.
The corporation reported that the search is carried out by teams divided into boats, with the help of drones and helicopters. The accident happened last Saturday, around 3pm, at the Quebra-mar Kiosk, which is close to the Barra pier, before gas station one.

Alerta Rio indicated, on Saturday, that the sea at Barra beach would be undertow, with waves exceeding 1.2 meters in height.
