Funn Festival 2024 opens its doors this Friday (10/5), at Parque da Cidade, in Brasília, with an extensive program of shows that will run until the last weekend of June. On the event stage, relevant artists in different musical genres promise to please the varied audience that traditionally attends the party.
As is the face of the federal capital, rock was chosen to brighten the opening of the Funn Festival with shows by three names that marked an era: Os Paralamas do Sucesso, Frejat and Humberto Gessinger. In the repertoire, great hits that are already part of the emotional memory of the rockers, such as Lanterna do Afogados, Bete Balanço and Infinita Highway, among others.
Pagodeiro Thiaguinho closes the opening weekend, on Sunday (11/5), with a show full of hits from his most recent EP, Sorte, recorded live. On the same night, the band Fica Comigo and DJ KVSH also perform.
Funn’s production team prepared a special night for hip-hop fans, on May 17th, with shows by exponents of the movement: Djonga, Marcelo D2, GOG and Tasha & Tracie.
The traditional country music will take place on May 18th, with Eduardo Costa joining the traditional Trio Parada Dura. Edson & Hudson and Gian & Giovani, two successful duos in the 1990s, will be together at the Boate Azul show, a tribute to Joaquim and Manoel’s classic.
