One public servant was arrested red-handed for stealing five air conditioning plants who were in a warehouse at the Augusto Corrêa Department of Education, in the northeast of Pará.
The Military Police (PM) was responsible for recovering all the items last week. According to investigations, the man, who worked at the secretariat, must answer for embezzlement — when a public employee uses his position to commit crimes.

According to the agents, The recovered material was sent to the city police station, where the case is investigated. There, the police try to identify if there are other employees involved in the occurrence.
In a statement, the city hall of Augusto Corrêa informed that it is assisting the investigations and that it has initiated an administrative process to determine the responsibility of employees in the theft of the devices.
