In the program “Eliana” this Sunday (04/28), the presenter brings the story of Grandma Maria, a 65-year-old woman who conquered the internet with her laugh as she reads her followers’ question boxes, challenging herself to read words in English. The program’s production went to the interior of Bahia, where Vovó Maria lives, to learn more about this captivating character. Under the pretext of an interview for the TV Zyn podcast, an SBT YouTube channel with more than 6 million subscribers and 3.5 billion views, the team invites Maria to participate in the Eliana Program. On the attraction’s stage, Vovó Maria, accompanied by Bruno, her beloved grandson, and Givaldo, her son, will face challenges.

In the section “Is It Sweet or Isn’t It?”, Vovó Maria and her family will participate in a fun competition prepared by Vivi Cake, a social media phenomenon with more than 2.5 billion views on YouTube. They will have to identify what is made of sweets in a setting simulating a grandma’s house, among real objects and some made of cake.

Another challenge is the classic “Peso Certo”, where participants need to choose five items from the bench and the sum must reach 5 kg, with a different prize for each attempt.

Rita de Cássia participates in Beleza Renovada on the Eliana program

Rita de Cássia, a dedicated mother with a generous heart, will be the focus of the transformation of “Renewed Beauty“. Determined to recover her self-esteem and vanity, Rita will have an incredible surprise alongside her children during a good prank behind the scenes of the soap opera “The Childhood of Romeo and Juliet”, with the collaboration of the cast of the plot.

With five children and living with her partner Alan and four minors, Rita, at 25, had her first child from a previous relationship. After meeting Alan, she moved to live with him and his mother, however, the loss of Dona Maria, Alan’s mother, four years ago, deeply shook the family structure. This loss not only affected her emotionally, but also financially, leading Rita to neglect her appearance over time.

Despite the difficulties, Rita seeks to rescue her self-esteem and vanity, wanting to smile again when walking the streets. His passion for the soap opera “A Infância de Romeu e Julieta” is shared with his son Luan, and both will have the unique opportunity to visit the broadcaster’s studios and scenic city, in addition to meeting the actors in the plot.

During the visit to the scenic city, a surprise awaits Rita and her family.
