This is also the case with the fight against sexual abuse and exploitation, or, the Orange May, which emerged from the great mobilization of society, due to the case of the girl Araceli Cabrera Sanchez, who in 1973, at the age of 8, she was kidnapped, drugged, sexually assaulted and murdered in the city of Vitória do Espirito Santos.

And civil society organizations, such as social control, promoted urgent and necessary demands from public authorities.

The invitation from Violence Attention Network – RAV in partnership with the State Secretariat for Citizenship and People with Disabilities – SECDEF, excludes civil society for the launch of Maio Laranja, in Alagoas, which takes place on the morning of this Friday, May 3 ..

The Maio Laranja campaign unites public authorities and civil society in the fight against sexual abuse and exploitation, throughout Brazil, except in Alagoas – activist denounces.
