Daniela Lima stands by and says: “Bolsonaro puts people on the streets, Lula lives alone”; WATCH VIDEO

In an analysis of the act of May 1st by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), commentators from Central GloboNews highlighted the reduced number of people at the demonstration and agreed that this is a warning sign. On the occasion, presenter Daniela Lima even compared the high mobilization of former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) with the “empty” events of the PT (Workers’ Party).

“One of the pillars of fake news that says that Bolsonaro won the elections and that everything was stolen by the TSE is what? Look how many people Bolsonaro puts on the streets. And Lula? He lives alone. Everything emptied, his business, since the campaign”, said Daniela, this Thursday (2).

Shortly before, Eliane Cantanhêde had made comments along the same lines, adding that Lula is “analogical” and has not followed the transformations in Brazil.

His colleague, Mauro Paulino, went further and described the act as a “failure”.

“The aerial image is very striking, it was a failure. According to the USP monitor, there were 1,635 participants in this event. Only. And at least 50 thousand were expected. This act with this very low number of people really means a warning”, said Paulino.
