Note is released to clarify the arrest of a prison employee in Acre

The government of the State of Acre, through the Institute of Penitentiary Administration (Iapen), in a note released this Wednesday (03), informs that this Monday, the 1st, a server at the Moacir Prado Penitentiary Unit, in Tarauacá, was arrested red-handed while trying to enter the prison with illicit material.

As soon as the unit’s management was informed about the suspect, they requested the presence of the Civil Police to monitor the approach. The server was immediately arrested and taken to the police station to record the incident.

The note also highlights the efficiency and commitment of the criminal police, who acted quickly and effectively to guarantee the safety and integrity of the institution.

According to the document, Iapen and the Criminal Police do not tolerate conduct of this nature and work to train and guide their employees regarding behavior and discipline. It also emphasizes that such incidents do not represent the standard of conduct of employees and strongly repudiates any action that goes against ethical principles.
