In an investigation, MPAM finds the lack of supervision of health agents in Itapiranga

Itapiranga prosecutor gave the municipal Executive a ten-day deadline to demonstrate

The Public Ministry of the State of Amazonas (MPAM), through the prosecutor’s office of the District of Itapiranga, opened a civil investigation based on the news report Nº234.2023.000042, to investigate the alleged lack of supervision of health agents in the municipality. The inquiry was published in the Official Gazette of the MP last Friday (26).

According to prosecutor Daniel Silva Chaves Amazonas de Menezes, the MPAM has the institutional responsibility of looking after services of public relevance and ensuring the rights guaranteed by the Constitution, promoting necessary measures in the legal order, democratic regime, social and individual interests.

In the Civil Inquiry, the MPAM sends it to the Municipal Health Secretary of Itapiranga so that within ten days the folder sends the “Community Health Agent Visitation Form” and the “Territorial Registration Operational Report” to the prosecutor’s office.
