Fake civil police officer is arrested in the center of Rio | Rio de Janeiro

Rio – A man who pretended to be a civil police officer to threaten employees of a bar in the center of Rio was arrested on Tuesday night (2). Luiz Felipe de Carvalho Pedra, 50 years old, had a pistol, ammunition, knives and brass knuckles when he was detained by agents from the 5th DP (Mem de Sá).

Images from the establishment’s security cameras captured the moment when the boy takes a pistol out of his backpack and shows it to an employee. During the approach, Luiz Felipe identified himself as a delegate from the 5th DP (Mem de Sá), Dr. Pedras. However, the agents were surprised as they did not recognize him.

With the man, police found an identification card that he used to pose as a private investigator. Luiz Felipe was arrested in the act for illegal possession of a firearm, illegal possession of a bladed weapon and for impersonating a public official.
