The murder of Larissa Costa da Silva, 30 years old, recorded late Wednesday night (1st) in the Pindorama region, in the Northwest region of Belo Horizonte, continues without apparent authorship or motivation. The crime took place on the corner between Antônio Carlos Coutinho and Guacira streets.
Neighbors and members of the public told police that they did not know the woman, who was only carrying a cell phone. He was seized and will undergo technical examinations.
Shots were fired and the sound of a motorcycle starting at high speed was reported by witnesses. No one could say whether there were one or two occupants in the vehicle.
Four shell casings were found near the body. The Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) confirmed the woman’s death.
Information from the intelligence sector states that Larissa’s boyfriend, whose name was not disclosed, was murdered five months ago, near the BH City Hall Sanitary Landfill, in the Jardim Philadelphia neighborhood. However, it is not yet possible to know whether there is a relationship between the crimes.
The body was sent to the Legal Medical Institute.
