This May, Grupo Reviver’s Savana Galvão mobile unit will be in São José de Mipibu, Natal, São Bento do Trairi, Riachuelo and Pedra Preta performing mammograms. This Thursday (02) and Friday (03), the service takes place in São José de Mipibu. Next week, from the 6th to the 10th, the service returns to Natal, remaining at UBS Nazaré, located at Rua Rubens Mariz, 744.
On the 13th, 14th and 15th, the exams will be available at the Santa Maria Mãe de Deus Parish, located at Rua Salto Veloso, 1838, Potengi neighborhood. On the 16th and 17th, the Reviver Group mobile unit will be at the Associação da Cidade da Esperança, located on Avenida Paraíba, s/n. In the week of May 20th to 24th, the mobile unit remains in Natal, this time in Igapó, at the Potiguassu State School, located at Praça São Vicente de Paula.
Closing the May calendar, in the last week, Grupo Reviver’s Savana Galvão mobile unit will be in São Bento do Trairi (27), Riachuelo (28), Pedra Preta (29) and São José de Mipibu (31). The rules for service inside are determined by the respective administrations.
To receive assistance in Natal, women must be over 40 years old, can live in any neighborhood of the city, regardless of where the mobile unit is providing services and must bring ID, SUS card from the capital and proof of residence. In the capital, service always takes place from Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 4 pm, with daily distribution of forms always at the beginning of the working day.
“We always draw attention to the importance of self-examination every month and also having a mammogram once a year. This screening exam is one of the most efficient for the early detection of cancer and other changes in the breasts”, stated the president of Grupo Reviver, Ana Tereza Mota.
