The Alagoano Tourism and Gastronomy Award, produced by journalist Claudio Bulgarelli, with support from Sistema Tribuna de Comunicação, the official publicity media, will take place on May 8th, at the Jaraguá Innovation and Technology Center. The award also has support from the Alagoas Development Agency (Desenvolve), the city councils of Maceió and Maragogi, in addition to Amaru Sustentabilidade, Miami Sinalização, Maceió Convention, Casa Perini, Instituto Idesne, Secretariat of Sciences, Technology and Innovation (Secti) and the Technological Polo Innovation Center (CIPT).
Maceió and Maragogi will receive special tribute. But other municipalities will also be awarded: Murici, Maribondo, Pariconha, Coqueiro Seco, Matriz de Camaragibe and Delmiro Gouveia.
The 2024 edition will have many differences: a tasting table with products from Alagoas: Brazulaque da Serra cheese, from Maribondo; the very light sweets from Lu Mais Leveza; the feijoada dumplings from Restaurante da Baiana; oven-baked cocadas from Favoritu’s restaurant, antipasti from Divin Antepasto, bittersweet pork poulet from Gordinho restaurant, puff pastries from Mascarpone, honey sachets from O Cortiço, as well as other products.
The Open Bar has the signature theme bar Mister Drink’s, the ceremonial by Wemerson Vasconcelos and sound and light by the master Nicola DJ, as well as photo and video with Edilson Omena and interviews by Lucas França. The event will also feature a tasting of craft beers Deodora, Leguele and Mcz Beer, as well as a tasting of Macaw wine from Casa Perini.
There will also be a fillet embroidery fashion show, with pieces by lacemaker Adriana Gomes, and models from the Top Models agency. Finally, an exhibition by the group Autismo Simply Arte, coordinated by dental surgeon Claudia Nicácio.
