Family violence case results in arrest in the city
At around 7:50 pm this Monday, April 1st, the Military Brigade of São Pedro do Sul was called to respond to an incident, on Rua Independência, in the Santo Antônio neighborhood, where a 36-year-old man was attacking his father, aged 71. years.

At the scene, the police made contact with the victim, who had bruises on his body and indicated his son as the perpetrator.
In the bedroom of the residence, the garrison found the suspect who confessed to being responsible. He was then placed under arrest, informed of his rights and handcuffed to safeguard everyone’s physical integrity.
The victim went to the Municipal Emergency Room by his own means and the perpetrator was taken by BM. After being sent for registration at the Civil DP where a Notice of Arrest was drawn up in Flagrante / Registration 603/2024. The Brigade also provided support to the Civil Police in taking the attacker to the São Vicente do Sul State Prison.
