BAHIA RECEIVES FINAL TRAINING STAGE FOR UNICEF SEAL

With a meeting scheduled for the 2nd and 3rd of April, at the Anísio Teixeira Institute (IAT), from 8am to 4pm, UNICEF and the technical partner, Centro Dom José Brandão de Castro (CDJBC), are intensifying efforts towards the final strategies of this edition of the UNICEF Seal.

Through the VI Training Cycle for teams from municipalities in Bahia, the training has a joint commitment to strengthening public policies aimed at childhood and adolescence in Bahia.

The meeting features teams from approximately 110 municipalities in Bahia and represents a crucial stage in the journey of municipalities seeking to achieve the UNICEF Seal, a recognition that attests to the improvement of indicators and significant advances in guaranteeing the rights of children and adolescents.

During the training, municipal teams will participate in training and guidance to carry out the II Community Forum and will carry out a general review of deliveries, deadlines and certification methodology. It will be a time to share good practices, an analysis of vaccination coverage strategies, an overview of the activities of adolescent groups, together with an approach to the expected results for the goals established in this edition.
