A 39-year-old man, whose identity was not revealed, was arrested by civil police officers from the 27th Police Station of Monte Alegre (27th DP of Monte Alegre), on suspicion of having attempted murder against a man at a gas station , on April 9, 2024, in the municipality of Monte Alegre, in Greater Natal. The arrest took place on Friday (26).

According to investigations, the motivation would be a disagreement between the person being investigated and the victim regarding the rental of a property. On that occasion, the suspect broke into a convenience store and, using firearms, attempted to murder his enemy. The investigations began after anonymous reports about the crime. Immediately, civil police officers from the 27th DP went to the location and gathered various evidence of responsibility.

After intense investigative work, the Civil Police found responsibility for the incident less than 24 hours after the crime. Also on Friday (26), two search and seizure warrants were executed at the target’s residences.
