This Tuesday (2), the day begins with a predominance of many clouds in Pernambuco. Throughout the day, rain showers accompanied by thunderstorms are expected across the state in the morning. Among the municipalities that are expected to be hit by the rains are: Petrolândia, Petrolina, Recife, Salgueiro and Santa Cruz do Capibaribe.
The National Institute of Meteorology, Inmet, issued an important warning. There is a risk of intense rain, with an accumulation of between 50 and 100 millimeters per day, accompanied by strong winds.
There is a low risk of electricity cuts, falling tree branches, flooding and electrical discharges.
Recommended care includes:
- Do not take shelter under trees, as there is a risk of falling and electrical shocks;
- Do not park vehicles near transmission towers and advertising signs;
- If possible, turn off electrical appliances and the general power supply.
The minimum temperature is around 21°C, in Panelas, and the maximum temperature is expected to be 32°C, in Floresta. Relative air humidity varies between 50% and 95%.
