Last week, Piauí clubs began receiving the transfer agreed with the State Government as a way of encouraging football in Piauí. The first installment was transferred last week, and the second and final installment is expected to be paid within 30 days.

The first installment, worth R$2.65 million, was sent to the FFP last Tuesday. The Piauí football management entity is responsible for the distribution between the clubs, which started last Thursday. President of the FFP, Robert Brown confirmed to the ge that the remaining clubs should receive the first installment this Monday. The second installment is expected to be paid within 30 days.

The division of values ​​takes into account the tournaments played by the associations throughout the season. In this way, Altos, Fluminense-PI and River-PI, representatives of the state in the Copa do Brasil, Copa do Nordeste and Série D do Brasileiro, receive the biggest shares. In addition to the three clubs, all participants from Series A and B of the State Championship also participate in the division, in addition to the women’s and youth competitions.
