The suspect of killing the 17-year-old teenager with a shot to the head in the early hours of Saturday (30) was interviewed and released by the Chapadão do Sul Civil Police Station. The young man was murdered while playing on his cell phone in the Esplanada 3 neighborhood, in Chapadão do Sul.

According to the delegate responsible for the case, Felipe Potter, the perpetrator of the crime is also a minor. “An Infractional Act Investigation Report (AAAI) was opened. The participation of a minor in the crime, identified as the perpetrator, was investigated. The minor suspect’s cell phone was seized and will be sent for forensic examination.”

“Apparently the motivation was a drug debt. The minor who died was involved in drug trafficking and had already been arrested for this criminal act”, concluded the delegate. The victim’s body was sent to the Legal Medical Institute (IML) for examination.

As published by Digital Diary, the teenager was sitting on the balcony of a residence with his partner. At a certain point, the girl, who is also a teenager, went inside the studio apartment, when the suspect she was wearing was hooded and called out to the teenager.

The shooter was on a motorcycle when he called the young man by name and fired the firearm. The Fire Department team was called and took the victim to the Municipal Hospital, but he ended up not resisting and dying. Given the facts, the case continues to be investigated by the Civil Police of Chapadão do Sul.
