First lady of DF files police report against woman for alleged ‘stalking’ | Federal District

According to Mayara Noronha’s office, the case has been investigated since March this year, after “constant threats identified by the security team”.

“Lusimar [suspeita de cometer os crimes] was taken to the police station to provide clarification and sign a term of commitment; was subsequently released”, informs the press release.

The identity of the suspect was not confirmed at the g1.

The crime of “stalking” is the incessant and persistent pursuit that interferes with another person’s freedom and may threaten the physical or psychological integrity of the victim. According to the Penal Code, the crime, foreseen since 2021, can be defined as:

“Persecuting someone, repeatedly and by any means, threatening their physical or psychological integrity, restricting their ability to move around or, in any way, invading or disturbing their sphere of freedom or privacy”, states the law.

The penalty varies from six months to two years and a fine. It can increase if it is committed against a child, teenager, elderly person, against a woman, with the use of a weapon or when two or more people commit the crime.
