To the police, the passenger said that she bought human hair in Ponta Porã and resold it in another municipality
Two people were arrested on Monday afternoon (29), after being caught red-handed by the PRF (Federal Highway Police) transporting around 10 kg of human hair without a receipt on BR-267, near the city of Nova Andradina, municipality which is 298 km from the Capital.
The police approached a Ford/Focus, occupied by the driver, a Paraguayan national, and a Brazilian passenger. During the inspection of the vehicle, the police found bags with human hair, without a receipt or any other legal document.
To the police, the passenger said she bought human hair in Ponta Porã and resold it in another municipality.
As a result of the incident, the merchandise was seized and sent to the Federal Revenue Service in Campo Grande and the couple was taken to the police station.
