The Public Defender’s Office of the State of Alagoas (DPE/AL), through the program ‘The Defender’s Office Goes to You’, will carry out a new phase of services this Tuesday, April 2nd. The first action takes place from 8 am to 1 pm, at Campo do Botinha, located on Avenida Senador Rui Palmeira, in the Sururu de Capote community, in Vergel do Lago.
The action will have the support of the Cooperativa das Marisqueiras Mulheres Guerreiras (Coop Maris). On Thursday, 4th, the team will serve the residents of Marechal Deodoro. The actions will end on Friday, 5th, with services aimed at the homeless population, at Centro POP 1, located in the Jaraguá parking lot.
During the events, the population will have the opportunity to consult the progress of legal proceedings, request the issuance of letters to issue a second copy of the Birth or Marriage Certificate and undergo screening for actions such as divorce, paternity investigation, alimony, rectification registration, death supply, licenses for up to four minimum wages, consumer rights, among others.
Furthermore, the Public Defender’s Office team will be available to listen to the population about the quality of public services in the region, aiming to act in the sphere of individual and collective rights.
Those interested in participating must attend the event, if possible, with copies of personal documents (ID, CPF) and proof of address (water or electricity bill), Birth/Marriage Certificate (in cases of pension or divorce), as well as the name and address of witnesses.
