Starting this Monday (1st), applications for the “Jove Jovem” internship scholarship program are open in Maranhão. Young people, between 17 and 25 years old, who are studying secondary, technical or higher education, Youth and Adult Education (EJA) or special education can participate. The registration form is available here.
At first, the information will form a database, which will be available for evaluation and selection by the program coordination throughout the year.
According to the program, vacancies are expected to be called from the month of June, in accordance with the schedule to be released by the Maranhão government.
The program is an initiative aimed at directly generating opportunities for young people from Maranhão. It was created through Law No. 11,384/2020 and regulated by State Decree No. 36,486/2021.
Encouraging entry into the job market, the program had its continuity guaranteed by Law No. 11,867/2022, generating more opportunities for young people from Maranhão.
