A man died after being hit by an iron bar used by his partner. The crime occurred on Sunday afternoon (31), in the Ressaca neighborhood, in Contagem, in the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte.
According to the police, Vilmaria Teles Barreto Ferreira initially had said that a man broke into the house and attacked the family member with a stick.
However, the suspicion contradicted itself, because I didn’t know who the author was. Witnesses interviewed by the PM also did not see any man invading the house. The police also found an iron bar stained with blood.
The suspect then confessed to the police that she was the perpetrator of the murder, after the victim called one of Vilmaria’s daughters a “slut” several times.
Vilmaria argued that the victim, identified as Carlos Roberto de Paula, had a history of domestic violence. In the eight years of their relationship, she said she suffered physical and psychological attacks.
The suspect also said that Carlos Roberto was the perpetrator of a homicide, occurred in the interior of Minas Gerais, which killed his partner’s ex-wife.
In front of facts, the author was arrested and the object used in the crime was seized.
