The Department of Education (Sedu) released, this Thursday (28), the general regulations for the 2024 State Public Network School Games, known as Rede Games. The adhesion period for interested schools also begins this Thursday, and continues until April 15th. Approximately 250 schools are expected to participate, involving around 13,000 students from all regions of the state.

Games on the Network is an action that aims to provide students from the State Public Education Network with the opportunity to deepen their knowledge related to sport, through classes on sports in the after-school hours and the possibility of participating in school games.

The competitions will be held in two stages, with the first involving high schools from each Regional Superintendency of Education (SRE), which will compete against each other. The champions of each modality will advance to the final stage, which will bring together representatives from schools from across the state.

Completing its 15th edition in 2024, the regional competitions are scheduled to take place between July and October, while the final phase is scheduled to take place between November 29th and December 5th. High school students up to 18 years old and regularly enrolled in school units can participate.
