Nursing professor Larissa Vanessa Machado Viana and the director of the Center for Health and Sports Sciences, Carlos Frank Viga, are being investigated for falsifying documents so that Larissa could enter the medicine course at the Federal University of Acre (UFAC).

O g1 He tried to contact the defense of those being investigated, however, he did not receive a response until the publication of this report. The Federal Police did not respond to requests for information.

The investigations, which are being treated as ideological falsehood, against the two Ufac employees, are investigated by the Federal Police. O g1 had access to copies of false documents that allegedly had been used so that Larissa could enroll in residual places in the institution’s medical course.

According to the documents, Larissa had studied medicine on a campus at Estácio de Sá University, an institution that does not offer such a course. The fraud would have been facilitated by Carlos, as he held the position of director, and helped the teacher carry out the forgery.

The woman also noted in the documentation presented that she had no connection with Ufac, even though she was a professor at the institution.

In another document obtained by g1Larissa filed, in response to the administrative process initiated, the definitive suspension of her enrollment, renouncing her place.

In contact with Ufac, the advisory said, in a note, that the student’s enrollment was canceled and the fraud report was forwarded to the Federal Police and the Federal Public Ministry. (Check the full note below)

“Ufac received the complaint through the Ombudsman’s Office and initiated an investigation process. It was found that the suspect had submitted false documents in the process for residual places in the medical course. As a result of the investigation, two measures were taken: the cancellation of the registration and the initiation of a Disciplinary Administrative Process (PAD). The process was sent for investigation by the Federal Public Ministry (MPF) and Federal Police (PF) and the university awaits the result so that new measures can be adopted.”

The Federal Public Ministry reported that the investigation is ongoing and cannot comment on the situation, but confirmed that the “case was forwarded to the PF and a police investigation was requested on November 16 last year, and is ongoing.”
