CNMP advisor and ombudsman addresses the “Peculiarities of the Ministerial Exercise in the North Region” in a lecture

Action aims to adapt new promoters to work with the peculiarities of the Amazon

The Public Ministry of Amazonas (MPAM), through the Center for Studies and Functional Improvement (Ceaf), held, this Friday (26), a lecture with the theme “Peculiarities of the Ministerial Exercise in the Northern Region of the Country”, given by the counselor and ombudsman of the National Council of the Public Ministry (CNMP), Ivana Lúcia Franco Cei. The event took place virtually, with the new members watching directly from the Gebes de Mello Medeiros Auditorium, at the headquarters of the Amazonas Attorney General’s Office.

At the beginning of her talk, the CNMP counselor recalled the mission of the Public Ministry and explained the work of the National Council of the MP. Soon after, she clarified the institutional relationship with the community and other authorities. In the end, she congratulated MPAM’s training actions and thanked him for the opportunity to teach the organization’s new promoters, “I was very happy to be able to help and I congratulate promoter João Gaspar for his initiatives, which are extremely important for us to prepare properly and understand the reality of the challenges we will face”, said the CNMP counselor.

The Attorney General of Amazonas (PGJ), Alberto Rodrigues do Nascimento Júnior, was present and showed his gratitude for the counselor’s participation, “I am immensely grateful to Dr. Ivana Cei, our dear friend, for hosting our Collegiate in Brasília. She is an example of a manager and a person I have great admiration for”, stated the PGJ at the end of the talk.

About the training course

The Amazonas Public Prosecutor’s Office entry course aims to provide practical training to new prosecutors, with the aim of promoting ethical and effective performance. During the course, which lasts 30 days, participants have the opportunity to acquire knowledge about the tools and procedures of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, adequately preparing them to perform their ministerial functions with competence and responsibility.
