Samsung presents 2024 line of Smart TVs in Brazil with a focus on AI; look

Samsung presented this Tuesday (7), during the Unbox & Discover event, the brand’s new line of televisions. The models that will be launched throughout 2024 include devices of the most varied sizes and screen types, aimed at different audiences.

Composed of Neo QLED 8K, Neo QLED and OLED models, the new family is called Samsung AI TVs and reinforces the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in devices. This technology operates at various points in the sound and image display, improving the performance of the device as a whole.

AI now acts on upscaling, improving image resolution up to 8K, if necessary. The televisions also feature AI Motion Enhancer Pro, which reproduces movements like sports matches without blur, and AI Sound, to reproduce clear sounds in a more immersive experience and even takes into account the noise in the room where you are.

The technology also helps to save energy intelligently (AI Energy Mode) and control the entire electronics ecosystem in a home through the SmartThings application.

Samsung’s new AI TVs

Neo QLED 8K

This is the most powerful member of Samsung’s new family of TVs. Composed of the QN900D and QN800D models, the television has versions in 65, 75 and 85 inches, all in 8K resolution (7680 x 4320 pixels).

It makes full use of Samsung’s new AI capabilities thanks to NQ8 AI processor. In practice, this means a level of detail and image sharpness that “outperforms conventional 4K TVs”, according to the brand. Furthermore, the chip reduces background noise so you can hear dialogue naturally.

In pre-sale, the 85-inch QN900D goes for R$85,499.05 in cashwhile the QN800D will from R$14,724.05 to R$20,899.05.

Neo QLED

Samsung also updated the Neo QLED line with 4K resolution. The new models are the QN85D and QN90D, which bring many of the AI ​​additions from the 8K models with the NQ4 AI Gen2 processor.

This device has a screen validated by Pantone, in a quality certification in color representation that already existed in previous generations. This family of televisions is available in different sizes and in the following price range:

In the field of OLED screens, the Samsung S95D is a 55- to 77-inch alternative for those looking for another type of content experience. This is because this model is the thinnest TV the brand has ever madejust 1.1 cm thick.

It also has Glare-Free technology, with a panel that is free of reflections and faithfully reproduces colors regardless of the surrounding lighting. This model is especially suitable for games, including because it has a faster refresh rate.

Samsung’s OLED S95D costs BRL 7,999 (in the 55 inch version) or R$15,999 (on the 65-inch model).

The Frame (2024)

The manufacturer also updated the The Framethe company’s TV that can blend in with room decor and offers different colors and framing options for when it is off.

The new model has a Matte anti-glare screen and design with less than 3 cm thick. Available in models from 43 to 75 inches, The Frame has 4K image resolution and support for 3D sound.
